Amazonie jungle trip- Peru
A 2h de vol de Lima se situe Iquitos, la ville de base à l’entrée de l’Amazonie péruvienne. J’en rêvais ! Mon 4eme jungle trip (après Thaïlande, Cambodge et Indonésie) allait enfin avoir lieu dans la mystérieuse et attirante jungle amazonienne. Des centaines d’agences proposent des tours de 1 jour à une semaine, je suis passé pour ma part directement avec un particulier (c’était 4 fois moins cher). 150 euros pour 4 jours et 3 nuits dans un lodge en pleine nature.
Iquitos is located 2 hours away from Lima by plane. It is the main city, located at the entrance of the Peruvian Amazon. I was dreaming about it! My fourth jungle trip (after Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia) was finally going to take place in the mysterious and attractive Amazonian jungle. Hundreds of agencies offer tours from 1 day to a week, as far as I am concerned I chose to visit the area with a private local guide (it was 4 times cheaper). 150 euros for 4 days and 3 nights in a lodge in the middle of nature.
Au programme : nage avec les dauphins roses, pêche aux piranhas, canoé, trek, découverte de la faune et la flore, visite d’une tribu… On ne s’ennuie pas! On mange principalement du poisson et du riz parfois accompagné de légume du jardin. On s’offre une totale deconnexion!
On the agenda: swimming with pink dolphins, piranhas fishing, canoeing, trekking, discovering the fauna and flora, visiting a tribe… We had no time to get bored. We ate mainly fish and rice, sometimes accompanied by vegetables from the garden.
